Ten-year-old Harmony Parker adores animals but isn't allowed a pet. When her Uncle Ginger visits from India, he gives her a seemingly ordinary 50p coin. Harmony soon discovers it's magical: rubbing the Queen's nose grants wishes. As she experiments with her newfound power, Harmony learns that wishes can have unexpected outcomes, leading to humorous and heartwarming adventures.
About the author
Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
