Synopsis

In the cold lands of the North, a mischievous troll named Ulf has a nasty habit—he loves to eat fingers! Many villagers have fallen victim to his sharp teeth, losing a digit to the notorious Finger-Eater. But when the brave and clever Gudrun encounters Ulf, she devises a cunning plan to put an end to his finger-eating ways once and for all.

About the author

Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
