Ten-year-old Harmony Parker adores animals but isn't allowed a pet. When her Uncle Ginger visits from India, he gives her a special 50p coin that grants seven wishes when the Queen's nose is rubbed. Harmony's dreams start coming true, but she soon learns that wishes don't always turn out as expected.
About the author
Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
