Synopsis

Horace is a fussy baby who refuses to eat, becoming thinner each day. Meanwhile, Maurice, the family cat, devours his meals and grows increasingly plump. One day, Horace accidentally discovers a food he enjoys, but this newfound appetite spells trouble for Maurice.

About the author

Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
