What is The Ring of Earth about?

Jack Fletcher is on the run. With no sensei to guide him, he relies on his wits and swords against new and unknown enemies. As he journeys towards the port of Nagasaki and the hope of returning home, the Shogun's samurai are in relentless pursuit. Barely escaping their clutches, Jack falls into a trap and is kidnapped by ninja, who take him to their mountain village. With no means of escape, Jack faces a deadly dilemma: who will kill him first—the ninja or the samurai?

Chris Bradford is a British author who loves adventure and action. He is best known for his exciting 'Young Samurai' and 'Bodyguard' book series, where brave young heroes face thrilling challenges. Chris also enjoys martial arts, which helps him write realistic action scenes. He hopes his stories inspire children to be courageous and never give up.
