Synopsis

Sophie, a determined young girl, dreams of becoming a lady farmer. As she turns seven, she embarks on new adventures: visiting a farm, making a memorable appearance at the school concert, celebrating her birthday, and starting riding lessons. Along the way, Sophie continues to expand her collection of animals and works diligently to save money for her future farm.

About the author

Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
